For millennia, dance was something every body knew how to do—instinctive, sacred, and woven into the fabric of life. But somewhere along the way, it became performative. Judged. Measured. Labeled as right or wrong, good or bad.

And maybe, like so many women, you started to believe the lie that you’re not a “good dancer.” That movement is something to be mastered rather than felt. That your body doesn’t know how to flow freely.

Welcome to Shakti Dance

A six-class progressive journey designed to return you to your body’s innate wisdom through Shakti Yoga, ecstatic movement, and deep embodiment practices. This is a space where you don’t have to think about how you look, only how you feel.

The Essentials

When and where is this happening?

Shakti Dance meets at The Green Witch in Eau Claire on:
Fridays from 6:30–8:00pm
April 25, May 2, May 9, May 23, and May 30
We’ll skip in-person on May 16th, and instead you’ll receive a pre-recorded virtual class that day to help you go deeper in your own sacred space.

How long is each session?

Each gathering is about 90 minutes, giving us time to fully drop in, move, and integrate without rushing.

Do I need to know how to dance or do yoga?

Nope. This space is for every woman—whether you’ve never danced in your life or you’ve been moving your whole life long. All you need is curiosity, a willingness to explore, and a body that wants to feel more like home.

What should I bring with me?

  • Clothes you can move, sweat, and feel in

  • A water bottle

  • A journal + pen (for those juicy post-movement reflections)

  • That’s it—we’ve got the yoga mats, meditation cushions, and blankets ready for you

  • And most importantly: bring your beautiful self and a heart open to remembering

I’m nervous about dancing in front of others. Will I feel safe?

Yes. This is not a performance space. It’s a return-to-your-body space. No one is watching or judging. Everyone is focused on their own inner experience, and you’ll be lovingly guided every step of the way.

What if I have an injury, am pregnant, or have limited mobility?

This is a “you-lead” kind of space. You’re always invited to honor your own pace, take breaks, modify, or even just lie down and feel. Please feel free to message me if you’d like to talk about your specific needs—I’ve got you.

No choreography.
